🇨🇾 Cyprus – National Follow-Up Activities and Implementation Impact
Cyprus played a central role in the success of the CACAT-NFE-FORI project, not only as an active participant but also as the country responsible for the full implementation and facilitation of the youth exchange in Greece. The Cypriot facilitators from POLYCHOROS guided the educational process, coordinated creative workshops, and ensured that the project's vision — "Culture and Creative Arts as Tools in Non-Formal Education for Inclusion" — was brought to life through meaningful learning, intercultural collaboration, and artistic expression.
Following the exchange, the Cypriot team organized a follow-up dissemination event on 21 September 2025 in Pissouri, Limassol, to present the project's results, share creative outputs, and encourage young people to join Erasmus+ opportunities. Hosted by ACPELIA, the session gathered youth workers, educators, and local young participants, who engaged in presentations, discussions, and interactive reflections about inclusion and creativity. The facilitators highlighted the methodologies developed during the project—such as art-based inclusion tools, theater workshops, and inclusive sports activities—and shared inspiring stories from the mobility experience.

The dissemination was widely promoted online through POLYCHORO'S and ACPELIA's websites, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, featuring videos and posts showcasing the Cypriot cultural cooking session, inclusive sports activities, and a final project montage. The Cypriot team's dedication and leadership ensured that CACAT-NFE-FORI achieved its full educational and intercultural potential, leaving a lasting mark on both participants and the local community.
Follow-Up Activity Description
On 21 September 2025, the Cypriot team organized a national follow-up activity in Pissouri, Limassol, coordinated by the partner organization Polychoros. The event aimed to share the outcomes, experiences, and creative results of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Culture and Creative Arts as Tools in Non-Formal Education for Inclusion" (CACAT-NFE-FORI).
During the session, facilitators and participants presented the key learning points of the project, emphasizing how art, music, and creative expression can foster inclusion, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship. Visual materials such as videos and photos from the youth exchange in Greece were displayed, helping the audience understand the project's atmosphere and methodologies.
Participants discussed non-formal education practices, shared personal reflections, and inspired attendees—mainly local youth and educators—to take part in future Erasmus+ initiatives. The activity also included short creative exercises to demonstrate how art can break barriers and unite people from different backgrounds. The dissemination extended online through Polychoros' and project partners' social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, amplifying the project's visibility and reaching a wider audience across Cyprus and beyond. The event successfully reinforced the project's core values of inclusion, creativity, and European cooperation.

🇨🇾 Cyprus Team – Reflections from the CACAT-NFE-FORI Project
The Cypriot team played an active and inspiring role in the Erasmus+
Youth Exchange "Culture and Creative Arts as Tools in Non-Formal Education
for Inclusion (CACAT-NFE-FORI)", held in Kato Alissos, Greece.
Through theatre, dance, art, and intercultural learning, the team explored how
creativity can become a bridge for inclusion and understanding among young
people from across Europe.
Each participant came home with new memories, skills, and friendships — and
here's what they had to say about their experience:
🎭 Michalis: "The Erasmus program CACAT was amazing! We did many activities and ice-breaking games to get to know each other better. I especially loved the cultural nights — each country made its own food, and we danced together until late! I met incredible people, some of whom I still keep in touch with today. It was an unforgettable experience!"
🎨 Apostolia: "It was a beautiful experience. Through art, dance, and theatre, I learned how creativity can help us talk about inclusion and discrimination. I met new people, shared ideas, and worked as part of a team. This project helped me grow more confident and realize that art is a wonderful way to connect and understand others."
🌍 Chrysanthos: "This was my first Erasmus+ project and it was amazing! I really enjoyed every activity, and I can say it was one of the best experiences of my life. I learned so much about myself and others, and I met the kindest people from different countries. I'll definitely keep in touch with them in the future."
🕊️ Nanar: "The CACAT project was a life-changing experience full of creativity and teamwork. Using art and culture, we connected beyond language or background. I learned to express myself freely and appreciate diversity. The friendships and laughter we shared will always stay in my heart — inclusion starts with empathy."
🌈 Frederiki: "Participating in CACAT helped me explore new ways of learning through creativity. The cultural nights were my favorite — sharing food and traditions showed how similar we all are. I became more confident, open-minded, and gained memories I'll never forget. It was truly a unique experience!"
🎭 Elpida: "This project was a perfect mix of learning and joy. Through creative workshops, I learned how art and teamwork can promote inclusion. I met inspiring people and discovered new things about myself. CACAT was more than a project — it was a journey that filled me with motivation and gratitude."
💫 Boghos: "As a Cypriot facilitator, being part of CACAT was both an honor and a learning journey. Guiding participants through creative workshops showed me how powerful non-formal education can be. Watching everyone grow, collaborate, and embrace inclusion reminded me why I believe in youth work and art as tools for unity."
✨ Final Reflection:
The Cypriot participants returned home inspired, motivated, and ready to spread
the message of inclusion through creativity. Their collective journey in
CACAT-NFE-FORI reflects the core spirit of Erasmus+: learning, sharing, and
growing together — one creative step at a time.
