🎯 Project Overview
CACAT-NFE-FORI is a Youth Exchange project funded under Erasmus+ aiming to empower young people (aged 16–22) to understand and combat discrimination, intolerance, and social exclusion through art, dance, and theatre. Participants will engage in creative workshops, non-formal education sessions, and intercultural activities that foster tolerance, solidarity, and inclusion.

Each country was represented by one group leader, and the discussions were facilitated by an experienced trainer from Cyprus.
✈️ Arrival & Logistics
All APV participants arrived in Athens International Airport on Friday, 13 June, meeting at Veneti Café in the departures area by 18:30. Transportation was coordinated by Youth Navis and carried out via two cars. Participants reached the hosting venue, Camping Kato Alissos, around 21:30 where they enjoyed a traditional Greek dinner and checked into their bungalows.
📌 Saturday, 14 June – Main Working Day
The working sessions began after breakfast with a comprehensive presentation of the project, including:

Educational goals and non-formal learning methods

Full Youth Exchange program breakdown (25 July – 2 August 2025)

Logistics: accommodation, meals, transport, and safety

Explanation of national preparation tasks, including:

Pre-project research on discrimination

Creation of cultural evenings

Design of art-based tools (e.g., posters, dances, performances)

Walkthrough of Camping Kato Alissos (venue for the YE)

Signing of partnership contracts and financial documents

Introduction to the official project webpage and shared Google Drive for coordination

Tips for participant selection and dissemination planning
In the afternoon, participants visited Patras, where the cultural trip of the Youth Exchange will take place. The group explored potential activity sites including:

Patras City Center

St. Andrew's Cathedral

Local outdoor theater space

Vrachneika area (planned dinner and activity location during YE)
Dinner was enjoyed in Vrachneika, helping leaders familiarize themselves with the area.
🧳 Sunday, 15 June – Departure
All participants had an early breakfast before departing from the camping site at 07:00 for their return flights from Athens.

The Youth Exchange program schedule was fully confirmed

Each organisation agreed to complete and submit their national preparation tasks by July 10th

Roles and responsibilities of leaders during the YE were clarified
