🇷🇴 Romania – National Follow-Up Activities and Impact
The Romanian team demonstrated exceptional commitment to spreading the values of inclusion, creativity, and European cooperation learned during the CACAT-NFE-FORI youth exchange in Greece. Their follow-up activity gathered 14 young participants aged 14–18, eager to learn more about Erasmus+ opportunities and the transformative experiences that come with them. During this interactive session, the team shared personal stories, discussed what they learned about non-formal education through arts, and answered practical questions about participation, communication, and overcoming language barriers. The Romanian youth showed great enthusiasm, with many expressing a strong desire to join future Erasmus+ projects. Team members like Bianca Tudose, Matei-Stan Stanciu, Vlad-Ștefan Gavril, Raluca Proca, Silviu-Ionuț Ștefanovici, Tudor-Călin Burca, and Cătălin Hilițanu actively promoted the project through creative posts, videos, and reflections on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, further inspiring peers across their networks. Their efforts not only showcased the power of art as a tool for inclusion but also helped strengthen a new generation of motivated young people ready to engage in intercultural learning and European cooperation.
Follow Up Activity
During our local activity we involved 14 youths aged 14-18 years old. We discussed with them about our experience in Greece, what we learned, how we felt and the experience overall. We spoke about erasmus+ and answer to their questions. They were curious about the difficulty to register, the english difficulty and if its hard to communicate if you do not have a proper english level. We ensure them that english is not a big barrier and there are people that want to help and support our learning process. Most of them are interested to participate in such opportunities and they want to involve in future.

Evaluation Paragraphs from participants
Tudose Bianca: The YE CACAT project was amazing. Taking part in the Erasmus project in Greece was one of the best experiences of my life. At first, I was a bit nervous because I didn't know what to expect and I wasn't sure if I would get along with the other participants. But as soon as I met the other teenagers from different countries, I started to feel more relaxed and excited. By the end of the project, I felt more confident, open-minded, and independent. I made new friends, learned to communicate better in English, and realized how much I enjoy discovering new cultures. The Erasmus project in Greece truly changed the way I see the world.
Stanciu Matei-Stefan: Honestly, this project in Kato Alissos, Greece (July 25 – August 2) was something else.YE CACAT turned out to be one of those experiences that hit different — the kind that makes you grow without even realizing it.I met people who felt like old friends after two days, laughed way too much, learned things about others (and about myself), and somehow ended up feeling like a better version of me.It was new, it was chaotic in the best way, and it's something I'll never forget.Still can't believe how much this one week changed my perspective and my sleep schedule
Gavril Vlad-Ștefan: Never thought one week in Kato Alissos, Greece (July 25 – August 2) could leave such a mark. The YE CACAT project was more than a trip it was a mix of laughter, deep talks, weird inside jokes, and moments that somehow made me grow without even noticing. Met people who felt like family, learned things school never teaches, and realized how powerful inclusion and connection can be. It was new, messy, unforgettable and I wouldn't trade it for anything
Proca Raluca Ioana: Experiencing an Erasmus project, especially in Greece, is an unforgettable experience. I arrived as an introvert, but I left more open and confident in speaking English. I learned to share traditions and laugh despite our differences. Speaking English every day felt unusual at first, but it helped me express myself and connect with others more easily. I met people my age from different countries, and together we joined workshops, cultural events, and group projects that taught us to learn from one another and celebrate our diversity. It was more than just an exchange, it was a journey that helped me discover the world and, most importantly, myself.
Burca Tudor Calin: My Erasmus experience was one of the most valuable periods of my academic journey. Studying abroad allowed me to adapt to a new educational system, improve my English skills, and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures. I met inspiring people from all over Europe, learned to work in multicultural teams, and became more independent and open-minded. This experience not only enriched my studies but also helped me grow personally and professionally.
Ștefanovici Silviu-Ionuț: My Erasmus experience in Greece was truly unforgettable! I had the chance to meet incredible people from all over Europe, each with unique stories and perspectives. Together, we explored new cultures, shared ideas, and learned how creativity and teamwork can bring people closer. Through every activity, workshop, and late-night talk, I discovered more about others and about myself. This journey helped me grow, express myself freely, and see the world with more confidence and openness. If you ever get the chance to join an Erasmus project take it! It's an experience that will change the way you see life forever
Hilițanu Cătălin: The experience as leader have helped me to connect with the youths from the community where I work. Helped me to know better the youths from my community, also to share knowledge and learn from others leaders experience.
